As the leader of Tribe Houston, I am excited about the possibilities of MiiU and I invite you to get involved in helping to make it work if you feel so inclined. This Resilient Community Wiki is the right thing at the right time. How good it feels to be doing something positive to build up resilient communities. Perhaps you would like to get involved. If so, see my contact information below.

I have been a Presbyterian Minister for the past 25 years or so and so have worked with congregations in Tennessee, Missouri, Mississippi and now in Houston, Texas. That required a lot of "higher education" which amounts to about 10 years worth of college, graduate school and seminary on my part. Due to my work as a pastor I have skills in counseling, conflict resolution, group dynamics, and communicating through writing and speaking. I have also developed some leadership skills working with people over the years.

Some people get squirmy or react negatively to the religious work. If you are one of those, think of my work as leading a non-profit organization and perhaps it will go down better. My purpose in my work with MiiU is not to convert anyone to any particular religious belief. So don't worry about that please.

I am blessed with a beautiful wife to whom I've been married for 25 years and two endearing children, a daughter age 15 years and a son age 12 years. This MiiU work will hopefully bear some fruit for them and also for myself and for you and yours as well.

It took me a couple of weeks to get comfortable with creating pages on MiiU but then it became very easy. I have come to experience the Wiki editor and software as quick and easy and elegant. It's like driving a Germaan sports car. The emphasis is on performance rather than luxury. There's another example of reslience for ya. Here's my recent MiiU activity.
