What's MiiU?
Here's a little more info. MiiU (pronounced me-you) is an open venture that hopes to do three simple things:
- We create valuable community services.
- We attempt to provide everybody that joins us with a way to make an income. That's the reason there is advertising on the site (so please don't treat it as a distraction)
- We will do whatever we can to start more ventures based on the open venture model.

MiiU (MyMiiU works too) is our first site. IF this site works, there will be more.

Why the site is under construction
We're still working on the site. It's raw and has lots of cruft at the edges.
One reason for using a basic wiki is that MiiU is a bootstrap, a community effort that grows incrementally.
FYI: we selected mediawiki (the software that runs wikipedia) to run this site. It's not very pretty, but it's very powerful in all the right ways. It gets the job done without distractions.
About the Logo and the Name
The logo is a lucky cat. It's based on a combination of the Japanese symbol of good luck, Maneki Neko and the 1919 version of Felix the Cat.
The name, MiiU is pronounced me-you. It's in part a play on the meow of a cat and the idea that this is a collaborative venture. We're doing this together.
