Robot

Description
Robotics encompasses the design, construction, operation, structural disposition, manufacture and application of robots.
Issues
Robots are widely used in manufacturing, assembly, packing and packaging, transport, earth and space exploration, surgery, weaponry, laboratory research, safety, and the mass production of consumer and industrial goods. As humanity transitions from the information age to the robotics age, more humans are likely to be unemployed in manufacturing and industry as robots are able to work faster, more efficiently and less expensively than a human being.
